Surfaces! Hand Building Level 3 (4/29-5/25)
On Mondays from 7-9pm with Amber
Level 3 surfaces seeks to explore surface techniques and design, with students learning techniques each week to add color, texture, and layer to their pieces. We look in depth at slips, terra sigillata, transfers, stencils, inlay, and wherever else the surface leads! Open to hand builders and wheel throwers who want to take their work in new directions. This class meets in the Burke hand building room so any wheel thrown pieces need to be made during open studio time.
Your class registration includes up to 10 pounds of clay fired, all supplies/glazes/firings, and open studio hours to work outside of class time. All you need to do is show up ready to learn!
