Surfaces for the Wheel - Wheel 2X (10/28 - 11/23)
Wednesday from 4-6pm with Amber
In this class, students will learn different techniques to use on their pieces at every stage of the process. We will explore new ways to play with color, texture, form, and more! Each week will focus on a different stage of clay dryness including the throwing stage, the different ranges of leather hard, bone dry, and bisque. Students can expect to work with slip, terra sigillata, watercolor, and glaze techniques that will highlight the surfaces of their wheel thrown forms. Students looking to take this class should have wheel experience or have taken Wheel 2A.
Your class registration includes up to 10 pounds of clay fired, all supplies/glazes/firings, and open studio hours to work outside of class time. All you need to do is show up ready to learn!
