Sunday, April 13th from 11am-4pm: Production Pottery

Local production potter David Kim of DTK Ceramics will take us through his production pottery style in this 5-hour wheel workshop. Students will focus on throwing off the hump and other techniques used to get consistent and similar pots. This workshop is recommended for intermediate to advanced throwers who are comfortable with 3-4lbs of clay on the wheel. There will be a short break for lunch during the workshop, so please bring something to eat if you would like.

The workshop price is for instruction and working time on the wheel and does not include any firings. If you would like to keep any pieces, you can fire up to 5lbs at $2/lb. Pieces must be trimmed and completed by the end of the workshop.
