For folks comfortable with the basics who are looking to take their clay training up a notch, this highly-structured intensive will focus on building your throwing muscles and strengthening your muscle memory - think of it like a group fitness class for throwing. We will focus on precision and production skills through drills, exercises, and critiques.
An important note: this class is geared towards students who crave a bit more structure, enjoy being pushed, and will require your full participation! Students should be prepared to create any finished work during open studio hours as class time will be centered around each week’s exercises and critiques.
Your class registration includes up to 10 pounds of clay fired, all supplies/glazes/firings, and open studio hours to work outside of class time. All you need to do is show up ready to learn!
